JOHN RAINIER | PHYSIOTHERAPIST

With a rich background in movement coaching and the arts, I bring a unique perspective to physiotherapy. My experience spans disciplines such as calisthenics, strength and conditioning, gymnastics, dance, handstands, martial arts, juggling, parkour, and soccer. I’ve also studied opera singing, which deepened my understanding of performance and the connection between physical and vocal expression.

My professional development includes Gary Ward's Upper and Lower Body Biomechanics courses, designed to optimise foot movement, and Integrated Kinetic Neurology Level 1 & 2, which enhances my ability to assess how the nervous system organises the body and restores its capacity after injury. I am also deeply interested in pain science and helping clients better understand and manage their pain.

I love connecting with clients to create a collaborative path toward enhancing their physical experiences and returning to what they love—or aspire—to do. Whether it’s recovering from an injury or striving for new challenges, I am passionate about guiding people toward their goals with empathy and expertise.

Clinical Interests:

  • Chronic Pain Education and Treatment

  • Sports and Activities Load Management Techniques

  • Exercises for acute injuries including muscle, ligament, or tendon sprains, tears or injuries.

  • Preventative health education, training and programming

  • Neck Injuries and Headaches
